SACRIFICIAL GIVING

Beloved Partner,

We have just entered another prophetic month in the year 2010, and this marks the beginning of a new move of the spirit. As we gradually begin to come to the end of the year, the month of September ushers us into a very critic quarter where we all need to be very careful and vigilant in all areas of our lives. In the midst of all the chocks in live, God has spoken again, that this month of September is the month of sacrificial giving. What does this meant?

Let's look at the book of Exodus 35: 1, 20-21 and Exodus 36:5-7:

And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them. And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses. And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord's offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments. —Exodus 35:1, 20-21

And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make. And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing. For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much. —Exodus 36:5-7

The children of Israel knew what it meant by sacrificing for the work of the Lord. As a result of their understanding of what sacrificial giving is, they brought all kinds of gifts for the work of the ministry. They had to give until they were stopped from giving more because it became too much for the work.

Imagine if the church of today can have that spirit, that they will give with all their heart and willingly for the work of the Lord. Then there will not be any kind of struggle in the execution of divine commissions.

From the beginning of creation God has made it that every thing that will increase must release something within to the creator to multiply it. When a creature either beast, plants, reptiles, humans releases a seed to God, he will multiply it for more increase. There are times in life when the only thing you have at hand is just what can get you through the day. There are times life becomes very difficult and everything you seek seems to turn against you. Child of God, when all seems hard and too strong, there is an answer to your struggles. Sow that seed and you will never regret. Any seed sown in a good ground will always bring forth good fruits.

Nothing can produce until it is position for production. Until something is given or released to God, it cannot produce. The type of seed you give to God determines the increase he gives to you. Any sacrificial seed you give for the work of the Lord this month will to your needs this season.

The month of September is our month of sacrificial giving. A sacrificial giving is anything you give out in pain, or something you go an extra mile to give beyond your normal way of giving. You can sacrifice a whole month salary or anything that is so dear and important to you this month and God will reach out to you accordingly. Life is all about sacrifice so learn to sacrifice for the Lord's work.

In Deut. 17:1 the scripture reads: "Thou shalt not sacrifice unto the Lord thy God any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evil favouredness: for that is an abomination unto the Lord thy God.".

In the Berkeley bible, it reads "Thou shalt not sacrifice unto the Lord thy God an ox or sheep in which is a blemish, any defect whatsoever for such sacrifice would be abhorrent to the Lord your God"

God gave specific instructions on the type of sacrifice to offer to him. Anything you give to God which does not have value to you will never be accepted by God. God does not receive rejected gifts. He needs our best. Best of everything not just leftovers. Anything that does not cost you anything will never mean anything to God. Even as humans, there are gifts you give you friend which if they are inferior will be rejected by him. When dealing with God, you must make sure you give your best.

Cain and Abel had to offer sacrifices to God. That means they had to give God a sacrifice. Abel knew the secret of sacrifice and offered God a more excellent sacrifice while his brother offered leftovers and rejects and blemished sacrifice. Of course you know what happened. God rejected it. Gen. 4:1-6

You don't just give because you are compelled to give but see it as a responsibility. See it as an obligation, see it as a duty but see it as an opportunity to get to the top. God does not take everything that comes to the altar. He looks into your heart and sees the value you place on him before he takes your offering. Cain's offering was not just rejected because he took it from the ground, but because his heart was not in the giving. Gen. 4:3-8

We need to learn to give God pure and quality offerings. Your offering has not much value until it is a sacrifice. Matt. 6:21-24. God rewards everyone according to his works on earth. Mal. 3:7-18. As you sacrificially give unto the Lord this month, He will reach out to you at the point of ALL your NEEDS. Phil. 4:19.

When you are committed to doing God's work, through your giving, God will be committed to fulfilling all your heart's desires. You can never give anything more than God can give to you.

John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."

It was a great sacrifice for God to have given his only begotten son for the redemption of mankind. If God spares not his only son for your sake, then what is it that you can give that will be too much as compared to what God has already given for your sake?

This month of sacrificial giving, child of God dare to give sacrificially for the work of the Lord.

Mission Outreaches

FREE MEDICAL PROGRAMS

In our many visits to Sio-Sio island also known as Dominion Island, we went with a medical doctor and nurses and free medication were administered to people. Many with diverse sicknesses were diagnosed and the doctor properly ministered to them.

Pastor Steve Sumrall and Pastor Randy Souza from America also supplied some drugs that really helped us to minister to the people. Many people gave their life to Christ in the evening programmes. We have discovered really that prosperity does not depend on where you are but on who you are what you are doing. Christ in you the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27 • Dr. Josephine James fondly called "Mama James" is currently working very very hard to put some structures to establish a little clinic to see that people suffering can receive treatment. There is more blessing in giving than receiving. Help in building "Mother Josephine Gospel Foundations."

THE SCHOOL

Mama James the president of the Unique Women Forum International and also of Missionary Mothers Association International (MIMAI) and has received inspiration from the Lord to begin a nursery and primary school in that island.

She said there is no beggarly life for the righteous. Something new is happening today. God is raising people in that island from the place of poverty and pain to a place of prominence and prosperity. The school is named Unique Bilingual Nursery and Primary School, Dominion Island Sio-Sio. No one that calls on the name of Jesus will receive shame. When God has taken over everything in life then the devil is completely empty of His lying power.

It is time for the people in that island to prosper in every area of their lives. The God that prospers other people has decided to affect their lives with abundance of blessing. Be a part of this blessing by sowing in that island.

SCHOOL SESSION

You can send a child to school. You can pay the school fees of a child. You can buy the canvas of a child. You can buy the school uniform of a child. It does take a little step to do the work of God. Be a part of the work this season. Pray for them that the Lord will mightily use them and also provide for their journey.
